So, I go online to check my Visa account and notice a charge against my Visa from a WebGrantAccess with, oddly enough, an 866 number. I checked my emails for the date indicated on my visa statement and there was no communication via email between myself and this organization. So I call the 866 number and again, oddly enough, get a customer 'service' person (who spoke English but with a very bold accent so was difficult to understand). I was informed that the contact was made on August 7/12. My recollection from THAT date was for information on government grants from the Canadian Federal Gov. and the fee that I authorized to be charged was $1.69. I expected, but never recieved either by email or snail-mail, information to see if I was eligible. NOW THIS!! I was assurred that I would be removed from the list, given a cancellation confirmation number, and would recieve an email immediately to have my visa charges reversed. STILL WAITING FOR THIS INFO, JUST LIKE I'M STILL WAITING FOR THE ORIGINAL INFO.

- I have had the same thing happen to me except mine was 59.24 from Cyprus I called thie 888 number and was told the would cancel but not refund the money This morning I reported it to the fraud dept of my credit card Then cancelled the credit card It does not pay to buy or sell online if this happens Who knows what changes will be next
