Loan-options.net took £59.76 out of my bank account without my permission for a membership that i never asked for. They have since re-paid £30, but will not return the outstanding £29.76.
This happened when i applied online for a loan. I had to put my debit card details on the application. The loan was refused, and i was re-directed to loan-options.net website. This was on 13/11/2012. On 13/11/2012 i got an e-mail saying that i was a member of loan-options.net ( but with no mention of any fee). Then on 20/11/2012 i got a text to say they had debited my account £59.76. After numerous phone calls ( to their premium rate number) and e-mails they returned £30 but refused to return the rest. I at no point was made aware that any funds would be debited from my account, and i did not want or ask for any membership. When they drew the money out it also made me overdrawn, incurring additional charges. They claim that they sent me a text and e-mail on 13/11/2012 advising that £59.76 would be debited within 45 days. This is a lie. The e-mail didn't mention a charge, and i did not get a text message untill 20/11/2012 after they withdrew the money. Surely it is not legal to withdraw money for a membership that i didn't ask for or want without ever advising any funds will be debited? i can be contacted at (Personal Information Removed)
