The intake worker when I first contacted Starr Law Group told me to take my mortgage payments and pay them with that while I was awaiting the home modification to be done because they couldn't foreclose while the modification was being done. I'm on social security disability and have very little income. They charged me $2,000 and I paid it with the understanding that I would save $299-$300 a month when it was all done. That was a bold face lie. When it came back I was told I got the best deal possible and saved a whopping $5 a month. When I called them and spoke with my agent there she refused to talk to me and said she was to busy and was extremely rude. If I did it myself I could have saved a lot of financial hardship. They had to know what the outcome would be in advance. They took advantage of me and my wife and took almost 20% of my entire yearly income to do a home modification so I could save a lousy $5 a month and then told me I should be grateful! They should be behind bars!
