International boundaries

This is the same scam opperation where the caller identifies themselves as calling from "Windows Technical Support" and that there is a problem with your PC. They then direct you to the Windows "eventvwr" and claim that they are being bombarded with error messages from your PC. They assume you are a Windows user even if you use a MAC. There is a lot more information on the web if you do a search for "call from windows technical support". I refused to provide any detail or hand over control of my PC to them until I had done some checking. The number 416-915-3536 is the number they gave me to call back to. I did call the number and the line is redirected to somewhere in India. Be aware of this scam.
