    • Andre Armstrong Complaint / User Submitted Image #180605

On October 30, 2012, Andre Armstrong who is supposedly a United Airlines mechanic purchased tickets for me which he claims was going to be using his airline miles and since he works for United, he would be able to get a discount. He told me he sold tickets on the side while being with United for 9 years. Anyways he booked the tickets for me and I verified everything with the airline and even spoke with a rep from United who confirmed that the ticket was nonrefundable which was the assurance I needed in order to keep with my end of the bargain and paying him. I even asked the airline worker and told them to notify me of any changes prior to anything such as cancellations or whatever it may be. Long story short I paid the guy using a Greendot reload which he requested. I am a bit cautious so I kept constantly checking the tickets to make sure it was still their. A lil over 24 hours later i checked again and it was no longer their. I called United to see what was going on and they said the card holder called and had it cancelled due to an unauthorized purchase which just shattered me.Immediately after getting off, I call Greendot and opened a case with them and they were able to freeze his account and track where the money went to. However they would not share the information with me unless I was someone of authority. I call Andre and ask him whats up and he goes his job must have found out that he was selling tickets on the side and cancelled his purchase but he didnt know that I spoke with United nor Greendot. Anyways this dude got me for 400 and I will pursue him no to the ends of the world and get back what he owes me. I kept in touch with him until thursday 11/15 which was when his phone was cut off.

The info I have on him is that he claims to work for United for at least 9 years now as an airline mechanic.

The original email that he used to message me was [email protected] which no longer works by the way.
I tried to track him down using his IP address but wasnt successful because I never emailed him directly.

Using his phone number 310-213-xxx, I was able to find out that he is with Sprint and the number is associated with Compton CA and even found out that the address that the number belongs to is on south willowbrook ave, Compton CA 90222 but it may have been 90220.

The credit card he used to make my purchase was a visa ending in 8325 but the card is associated with Tulsa OK 74136 address. He told me that he used to live in OK which I don't think is accurate.

I will get this dude. No one steals from me and gets away with it. If only I had a cop friend who can call and get me the info from Greendot.
