I was told by this company starting on August 3, 2102 that I owned a loan that I had taken out on a "PayDay Loan" and I had defaulted on it. I took out 3 PayDay loans in 2010 but thought I had paid them off and since then I could not remember the names of the companies. The calls started coming into the work place which is prohibited by my company. I gave them my home phone number so I wouldn't be embarrsed at work. They said I owed $5,000 through penalties and interest but they would bring it down to $1095.00 I was required to pay $200.00 for the proces of paperwork which was taken from my debit card. The next payment of $250.00 was August 15th, 2012 then another payment of $250.00 September 15. This went on until October 31st, each payment $250.00 every two weeks. He said he could not finish the paperwork until I paid another $221.00. I was ripped off for an amount of $1,921.00 for what I thought was a $1095.00 loan amount. After what I thought was a finished deal. I got a call on November 5th stating that I got another collectable debt of $5,500 and he could bring it down to $1095.00. This is when I got suspicious and look up the 855 number on the web and there are numerous compliants against them harassing people and threatening them. I was too threatened and said they were going to serve me with papers. I wasw totally intimidated and now I want to report it. These scum bags have Indian accents and are scammers.
