I purchased a leisure home from the park owners, for the sale price of £18,490. At the time I was told I could resell the home privately or the park would buy it back from me if required. Following 18 months of unhappy occupancy I have requested information on selling my home. The park manager has advised, they do not wish to buy back the unit and I am not allowed to sell privately as the unit is over 10 years old. I may only remove the unit from the park and will be charged £1500 diconnection charges. I was not made aware of these conditions until the purchase of the home had been completed and all monies had changed hands.

Update: 10/15/2013

Payment (pending) of £3800 has been made by the park, in respect of buy back of the caravan

Update: 10/15/2013

A payment in settlement of this matter has now been processed. The matter is now resolved.
