was online dating this woman for a period of 6 mths or so. she continuously asked for money to pay for flight to Australia. she said she had 10 bars of gold for sale in Australia when she arrived but had to pay for airfares insurance for gold etc. she sounded genuine and I believed her.I sent money to help her get to Australia then the fist excuse was she was robbed when picking up the money. I was doing it tough myself and rather unfinancial at the time relentlessly sent her $2000. she disappeared from contact for 6 days then rang me from Hawaii. she said she was heading to me in Aus. some more communication took place, then she contacts me once she arrived back in Ghana. more excuses etc etc etc about gold and how she could not get it released from Ghana from financial issues relating to a lawyer. she asked for more money so I cut all ties from her. I met her on Match.com and got talking. her interest on me almost immediately was love etc. at the time I was naieve and believed in it all. however it cost me considerable amount of money. she still tries to contact me because recently I joined up again with match.com, trying to find a partner. already have had hits from 4 different women from Ghana in as much time as only 1 week.this woman has cost me in excess of $6,000. how stupid was I.
