I got a call from Money Now Funding telling me that I had signed up for their infomation about working from home and on line. They said that I could be working and getting 4% of each "swipe of the credit card" that the small business they help start will use which could add up to a couple of thousand dollars a month. I have been "looking into" on line work, but don't really remember signing up for information. On November 14th around 8pm I ggot a call from Eric Stevens. He's the one that gave me all the hype and telling me that they needed a representative from my area. At the end of the pitch (which at the time sounded legit to me) I gave all my information he requested. Including my Discover Card information to $499.00 for the fee for my LLC license. After I was finished he switch me over to another young lady to "verify" information I had just given. She also told me that someone from "Legal Doxs, LLC" would be calling me to sign an online document for my license. Her name was Tiffeny Robbins. Please keep in mind that all three of these people gave me a Customer Service number of 1-888-859-3090. Said could call at anytime for assistance. I went to bed that night feeling happy that I was going to have a part time job and make some money to help with my income. I'm retired.
On November 15, 2012, around 6:30 pm I got a call from a woman named Savannah. She was calling me to give my "Web Site Address" and my "user id and password" for my "Backoffice" email that I will be using to keep up with my commissions, etc. I asked her what "Backoffice" meant and she really couldn't give a good answer. I told her that when we get off the phone that I would look at the site myself. She asked me if I was on the computer to and she could help me. Of coarse I wasn't on the computer at the time. I was eating my dinner. Before she got off the phone she also gave me the Custermer Service number of 1-888-859-3090 if I had any questions. She also confirmed that my Web Site was up and running. After I got off the phone I did go on the internet to look up my web site. Guess what, it wasn't there. I called customer service to see if there was a problem. A voice mail answered telling me to leave a message and someone would get back to me. I called twice and got same message. Then I decided to look back on my cell phone log and get the number for Mr. Eric Stevens when he called who assured me that I could call and get him. I called 1-480-658-2742. Guess what, you can't get to anyone on those numbers unless you know the parties extention number. Guess what again. At anytime did anyone give me an extention to dial, but they all said that they would be there for me.
After finding all this out, I started researching on line to see if I there was anyway that I could get someone and my heart fell to my stomach and my stomach fell to the floor. Befor I could even call up the web site for Money Now Funding I find all these scam notices. Not just one but quite a few. After reading some, I knew I had been scammed. I called my credit card company to see if I could stop the transaction of the $499.00 and it was already to late. I talked to the fraud department and she said that since the transaction had alread gone through, there was nothing they could do and it was likely that I would ever get the money back. After talking to her, I did go back to the sit for Money Now Funding and clicked on the email service for 24-7 customer service. I wrote all of this that I have written you and I have asked them for a refund. When I hit send, a message box came up and that they would get back to me within 24 hours. Left them my email address, name and phone number. I don't even know if it went through. And I don't know if I'll ever hear from them again. You just don't know how embarrased and upset I am to have fallen for this. I knew better, but listened to the smooth talker instead of my feeling I had.
