I received a postcard w/ American Airlines logos (front & back) in the US mail promising 2 roundtrip airfares in exchange for driving to a hotel in Atlanta & listening to a 60 min sales pitch on new travel packages. I called the tollfree number, confirmed the information & agreed to set up an appointment for my wife & I. Upon arrival we checked in & were asked to fill out & sign a form that says the presentation was 90 min. Not what we agreed to but we stayed til the end, decided not to buy & were then escorted to the hotel lobby & given a certificate that states we must pay $450 for a 'free' "Airfare & Hotel Vacation Getaway". I went back to the meeting room & asked to speak to whoever's in charge. Nobody claimed to be OR had a business card! Major scam! They said somebody would call me tomorrow. We shall see. If they don't, I just might go back & warn others as they arrive...
