This company promised to give me a $7,000 loan which I need desparately to go towards the down payment on my home. They told me that I needed to put $880. on a GreenDot card and they would just verify the funds but would not access any of my money before they gave me the loan they had promised. They lied by saying that if I gave them the number on the GreenDot card that they couldn't get to my money until the card was activated. NOT TRUE. Before I gave them that number I called GreenDot and they said that the store atomatically activates the card within 15 minutes of purchasing it. Shawn Bailey from Waterstone said that the guy at GreenDot must be NEW and didn't know what he was talking about. To test it out, I went on-line and moved the money only by using the same number that Waterstone said would do nothing. Shawn was very (Inappropriate Content Removed) when he realized there was no money on my card and started yelling at me. I should have figured out the scam when I realized that they didn't even have my paperwork and were saying that they would be putting the money on my other prepaid card. Now I have to cancel that card and I still need that loan but now at least, I'm not out an additional $880.
