I met this person on Match.com. We started IMing within a week. He told me at the time he was in Florida on a job but was originally from the UK. When he finished the job in Florida, he went back to the UK and accepted a job in Lagos, Nigeria. Shortly afterwards he started asking me for money. I believed his stories and unfortunately sent him money in Nigeria.
