I checked my credit cards charges and found an unauthorized charge in the amount of $17.94, dated October 19, 2012. Come to find out, it is for a monthly service, a subscription, on medical advise on line from a company called Thin Leader MD, who also have a website with that name.
I never heard of this company and never even visited their website. I do not have the slightest idea how they got my credit card number, because I have not used that credit card recently for any purchases. I am really concerned that they are stealing credit cards numbers and also wonder who is providing them with my account number. The transaction shown in the statement does not even have a transaction number, it just says: www.thinleadermd.com 888-332-6545 nj
I called the listed number and the customer service did not have any details on my purchase. She said she will cancel the subscription and a credit will appear between 2 to 3 business days. If I do not get a credit, I will report them for fraud.
Please check your credit cards charges often, because you may be charged for purchases that were not done and authorized by you.
Hope everyone continues reporting this company.
