I had called them Sept 9th to cancel service. I have notes that I also sent them an email to cancel. The email was not returned so they evidently received it. Today my credit card showed another charge for the billing period ending 10/23. I called them and they said that if I did not receive an email from them acknowledging the cancellation that they did not receive my email and I would have to cancel again. I also mentioned that my change to wireless phone service was incompatible with the equipment I had previously used them for and that there was no way to use their service since my call on 9/6. No difference. They allow you to sign up by phone but not to cancel and can claim they didn't receive your email to cancel. A small amount but if they do it often it would add up.
