I was reviewing my bank account and found a charge from BMC Doubleday Bookclub for $44.46. The problem is, I have not ordered any books from this company. The phone number that shows on this just goes to a recording that they are not in at this time.
Has anyone else had this issue?

I think I actually might have figured out what this company is doing. I am signed up for Doubleday Book club - no where does the BMC show up on my account. But I was looking at everything and it shows that I supposedly didn't decline the featured selection on 10/20. I keep all of the emails for the featured selection and the emails I receive when I decline them. I have no emails for this particular featured selection and therefore did not have the opportunity to decline it. They have sent these books to me and charged my card that is on file with them.
I am going to send the books back when they arrive and see if I can get them to credit me back. If not I will be taking some sort of action against them. Maybe even come back here and make another complaint against them.
Others might want to see if this is the same thing that happened to them. -
