Went on their website to order the 2 lantern package, first order was for JUST the 2 lanterns. By the time my information was submitted - I somehow had 7 lanterns on order and was charged $158.00. I immediately called the customer service line and was told "Call back in 24 hours, we don't have your information yet." I called my bank to make sure they didn't charge my card and was told it would cost me $32.00 to put a stop payment on the company. At this point I'm out at least that $32.00. I'm (Inappropriate Content Removed)!!!!

- Had the same thing happen to me.. only went on to order 2 and ended up with 5 and only 3 of those 5 even work.

Thanks for saving me form this scam. I googled it before ordering because the last thing I wanted to order was also a scam. The commercial gives the impression you can get two lanterns for $12.95 if you order right away, but on their main web site it says you get two, AFTER you pay an additional fee of $10. THAT is deceptive. That made me not trust them. And now I am here.
Also it looks like they used digital software filters in their PC to make the lights appear brighter than they really are, and made the ordinary flashlight look pathetically dim.
They advertised this in the wake of hurricane Sandy (Franinstorm coming after 10/28/12). And it seemed like such a great idea. Normally I don't care. A rip off is a rip off and I move on. But now, somehow, I got a sad feeling inside. They made them look so nice, yet I've read they are cheap junk. I'm just thinking. Isn't there any decency left in the world? There's so many scams, it's sad to see them taking advantage of people in an hour of need, or those trying to buy nice Christmas gifts for others early. -
