Got an alert my card was charged. I have not used the card for some time and made a purchase last week for some home improvement tiems at a large home improvement store. Now this 1.00 charge shows up. I have no idea what it is and its unrelated to the purchase.

- Same thing happened to me 10/25/2012. Chase Fraud caught the $1 charge, refunded it and shut our account down. Evidently the $1 charge is a trial, if the card works, the crooks will charge a bundle to your card. We haven't used our credit card for home improvement, but have made recent Internet purchases. We have shopped at Barnes & Noble in the past and their system was recently hacked, maybe that's where the crooks accessed our account info?
