I responded to an ad on the local lsn.com site where I had sold items previously. The ad offered a friesian horse to be adopted from a cancer patient who could no longer take care of the animal. Knowing how I would feel in their shoes I agreed to take the horse and pay shipping charges. They were really good with the details. I did not suspect until I had sent the shipping fee. I even had a tracking number! Until I called the number I had been talking with and received an answer from a Mid eastern accent did I put this together and do a check on scams on the internet.
