Cold called. They know you have shares in a company. They make you a possible inflated price for your shares e-mail you and ask you to sign document to keep quiet about a possible acquisitions. Looks very dodgy so far.

- My Dad has had the same call, they are offering £12 sterling for shares trading at £0.72. They say they are acting for a client who is trying to gain 51% of company X. The sting, I think, is in the "refundable" 9% insurance payment that they say you have to make.

- The website text has been lifted from (Content Removed) and the UK FSA have a "boiler room" warning against these scammers
