I have fraudulent charges on my account that were not made by me and Capital One refuses to send me the sales receipt fotr verification. I have contacted the merchants who say that if these are fraudulent to deal with the credit card. They refuse to help. Please help

- Report the situation to the BBB and do not settle for anything less than the information you seek. Even if they say they will delete the charges, let them know you still want to see a copy of the charges that appeared on your account. Afterall, that is your right. It is your account. Contact an attorney if you fail to succeed on your own and put a freeze on that card.

- Since Capital One is an institution with accounts backed by the FDIC that makes this federal. If the BBB does not help contact the FTC.

- Of course, if the company is backed by the FDIC, you can make a complaint with them also.
