I'm just like you
I had been wanting the Samsung Galaxy S3 but I didnt want to pay the full price. I decided to get onto Craigs list to see who were all selling this device.
I thought I was saving money I was SOOOO WRONG IT WAS A SCAM!!!!!
I found that all out today 10/15/12 when The phone was suppose to arrive but it didnt.

We all know on Craigs list we can email the person who's selling the item. I emailed Someone By the name of Roxanne Mccammon about the Samsung Galaxy S3 . She stated she was selling the phone for $300.00 .

Finally, This person by the name of Roxanne Mccammon emailed me out of the blue about the phone she was selling these are her words exactly:

9/26 Hi, I am getting back to you regarding the Samsung GALAXY S3 from CRAIGSLIST. My name is Roxanne and I am now in Vancouver, BC, Canada. The phone is still available and I hope you are still interested. I am selling the phone for $300.00 US. I have attached some photos with this email. (the photo's where of the samsung galaxy s3)

Included in the $300.00 price everything that came with the phone and also the warranty papers. I tried to be as through as I could with this presentation so you can see all the info if you decide to go ahead and buy it. SO what do you think? Do you want my S3?

I had then responded to her and I had gotten another email from her because, I wanted the phone she then responded with this:

9/26 The phone is factory unlocked, so you can use it with any carrier. Is a GSM version. There is nothing wrong with the Galaxy S3 , it's in perfect working and cosmetic condition. I received the phone as a birthday gift but I already had an iphone 4S. I used the Galaxy S3 for 2 weeks to see how it works. Now I decided to sell the Galaxy S3 and keep the iphone.

After reading her emails I responded I wanted to buy this phone I felt that the website was fine. It didnt seem like a scam. Plus I had read everything.
During that time I had gotten another email from this person named Roxanne. She was telling me the price of the phone :

9/26 Yes the price is $300 and yes you can use it with boostmobile. I was checking for a way to make the exchange from here to you in the US and I came across this option, which is a very good way to make this exchange.

It's provided by a company called Interparcel and it will help us with this transaction. They seem designed specifically for internet transaction, they handle both the payment and delivery part of this transaction. They seem pretty nice and trustworthy and they provide the service that we can use for our exchange.

Today I waited and Waited for my prouduct from FedEx But It Never Arrived. Be careful Guys Because, you dont want to go through what I went through. This was all a SCAMMMM Im SO upset I can't do anything about it but Inform You On This. I tried to get back on the website today but it would not let me.

I notice this was a scam because, I visited this website from google and from everyone else I've noticed that these people Use the NAME Roxanne , Jessica ect. the just change the last name and email. They also send you pictures of the item they tell you that they are selling don't fall for it. The email this person had was From: [email protected]


I hope this information can help someone out there be safe. I've now learned I will never buy anything from online unless it's in my state.

My wire transfer was 300.00
My wire TRN Fee was 29

My Tax Bal was 329.00
The cash was $330.00


But The Money that was paid to them was $175.27 United Kingdom Pound
They had me wire it to Bolton, United Kingdom
