I ordered an iPad from the company, HongKong Aroa-shop Electronic Trade Co.,Ltd., early this month. I was instructed by Lincoln Guo, the manager, to send the payment to HongYing Zhu using Western Union.
On Oct. 5, I sent the amount of $142. On the same day, I received an e-mail from Mr. Guo saying that the iPad had been shipped. He gave me the DHL tracking number 8763634469.
On Oct. 6, I got another e-mail from Mr. Guo informing me that the package was placed on hold at customs. He said that customs would not release it until the import tax equivalent to 100% of the value of the iPAD.
On Oct. 7, I sent the amount of $142 to cover the tax.
After sending the additional money, I never heard from Mr. Guo again. Repeated e-mails to him have remained unanswered.

- Experienced exact same situation here. I ordered last week an Iphone 4S and paid $120 on Oct. 12, 2012 via Western Union. Then they're asking me also to pay 100% tax because my item was on hold with customs. I did not agree, and now they're negotiating that they will pay $40 but I still need to pay $80 so they can ship the item to me. I am now demanding to have my money back...I hope to still get it.:'(

I deal with the same person and got the same situation. I paid him USD318 and after the payment he claim that custom detain the goods. Since the tracking number is not valid, I persist not to add what he claim as '100% duty request by customs'.
Please be aware since there are few other companies seem use the same trick to attract people to pay them.
Any method how to report this scam? -
