I have been receiving relentless texts from [email protected] and [email protected] that all say Subject:BankofAmerica Hello.call
Followed by the following phone numbers
646-871-3784
270-510-1135
847-603-4825

Some of the texts appear spaced out as follows: Subject: B a n k o f A m e r i c a Hello.call followed by a number.

There have been other numbers as well, but I have already deleted those texts. I have not called them back because I have done my research and know this is some form of scam. I have sent a complaint to info.com as well. I have not yet found a way to make the harassing texts stop. Replying to the texts with "STOP" is not helping the matter, in fact it seems to make them text me even more. I don't want to change my number, I'd rather make sure that these would-be scam artists get whats coming to them. I'm sure they in no way represent Bank of America. I've read about some poor people who have actually provided their personal information to the call-back numbers, but do not know if they've lost money out of their bank accounts. Their statements online say that they automated system asks for their debit card numbers, pin numbers, security numbers on the back of their card... I can't believe some people actually gave up this information knowing that their bank isn't affiliated with the Bank of America. Something needs to be done about this. Luckily I've not fallen for it, but I just want the texts to stop. I get them several times a day almost daily... for about the last two weeks. I'm thoroughly fed up. Please help! Can I sue for harassment if these people are identified?
