I received a phone call in July from the Fed. Trade Commission saying I had won 2nd place in a sweepstakes from Stars & Stripes.
For me to receive the money which was $350,000 at first, I had to insure it for $14000.00 with Lloyds of London. I sent it (like a fool) to a bank in Costa Rica. Then of course they kept calling and saying that I had to pay taxes and other costs. One was to Columbus Ohio airport where the package was waiting for a pick-up from a courier.Four times to send money in all. Having started it I prayed that it was legal and the last place I tried to wire money told me it was a scam . All together I lost about $30,000.00 I am just sick and heartbroken from being so stupid. I did call the FBI finally in July and haven't heard from them. I have names and phone numbers of my contacts. The last one said he was with the IRS.
Please help me to recover my senses.
