I purchased two airline tickets, one for myself and one for my son. After, when I went to get seat assignments, I discovered that my son's middle name appeared as something like "Svedlovsk." My son's middle name is Averell. I contacted Cheapo Air who insisted I made the mistake - of course, a mother wouldn't know her only child's middle name - and told me I would need to cancel my tickets, at $50 per ticket, and reorder. And, of course, in the 12 hours since I purchased the tickets the ticket price has increased.

This was unacceptable so I contacted a different clerk who admitted this was their "system error." So then I was told I would be charged $53 for cancelling the one ticket, they would sell me the new ticket at the original price and they would credit me the $53 for my inconvenience.

That didn't happen and now they "have no record" of telling me I would be credited the $53 - essentially they are calling me a liar - and are back to insisting I made a mistake on my son's name. I will never use CheapoAir again.
