call from person saying they were from Windows and that my computer had a problem from hackers and that it had sent an error report and they wanted to access my computer to fix the problem. They took control of the computer and ran various software programs to address what they said was the problem and then wanted $300 for a 5 year service. I objected and they offered a $150 one year service and would send an email. I now find they are a scam group and I may be out the money. I have contacted the credit card company to dispute the charge. I do not know what they have placed on the computer that could cause problems.
