On August 17, 2012 I ordered a 16 inch virgin deep wave full lace wig from lacewigsbuy.com.

When I received the wig I noticed that it had an odor that could best be decribed as corn chips or dirty tennis shoes. It would stink up the whole room. No matter what I tried it was impossible to remedy this problem. I was advised by laceswigsbuy to send it back to China. I had to pay postage.

It took a month to get the replacement wig. In the interim I ordered a 16 inch curly virgin wig for a friend. This might sound strange but I had ordered at least 5 wigs prior to this and had no problems.

When my friend's wig arrived I tried to add highlights. I have done this many times to virgin hair with good results. The wig responded poorly to being colored. This was an indicator that the wig was not virgin hair. The wig was ruined. we decided to chalk it up as a $340.00 loss.

My replacement wig arrived yesterday. Upon opening the box I noticed that the waves were stiff and quite regular. Not a good sign. I decided to dip it in clear water. After dipping the wig (which was shedding) the water I dipped it in was a reddish brown tint. I also noticed that the gray hair in the wig was tinted a orangy brown. This is another tell tell sign that this wig had been processed and therefore was not virgin.

I have contacted lacewigsbuy and I have been given the run around. The last email I received this morning, stating that the brown water was "probably coming from the lace color or something" (her words) She said I should wash it a few times and that would make it look better and that she hoped that would help.
I put the wig in a pony tail and dipped just the ponytail in the water and the water turned orangy brown again. So much for the lace theory.

Let me warn you that the representatives for lacewigsbuy.com are not nice and can be very nonchalant when issues arise. Last week one of them hung the phone up in my face because I mentioned that I was not happy with amount of time I had been without my wig.

I still don't have a wig I can wear for the $340.00 paid last month plus shipping.
It seems like I will have to pay double by the time I finish paying for postage on returns.
I wonder when they are going to send the virgin wig I ordered or if they are going to keep trying to pass off this crap.
