Complaint 161941 Details

I checked my bank balance on 09/27/12 and found an unknown electronic check debit for $25.95 from this company. I called the number associated with the debit and spoke to a moron named "Brian". I explained I had no clue who they were, that I never ever authorized anything out of my account and didnt even know what the money was paying for. I gave him my name and he then refused to verify anything until I gave him other personal identifying information. When I refused and he told me he could do nothing without such verification, I told him I wanted a supervisor. He literally laughed at me and put me on hold. After 5 minutes on hold another man named "Kevin" came on the line (and I assumed it was just the guy sitting next to Brian because he refused his last name and title). I explained to him again the problem and he told me they had my authorization on tape from 08/23/12 as a preorder for their services and they had my I.P address. I find this odd, because the day they say I did this, I was in the hospital with my daughter who had an emergency appendectomy. He became very nasty and told me it would take 10 days to refund. I told him in not so nice words that he had 24 hours to do it before I contacted the Attorney General. He then hung up on me.
