i was asked by edge model management to come in for a model test shoot to see if i was any good for there agency so i was sent to earls court and went into the studio called alt and ego studios, i was then convinced my portfolio was no good and that was why i hadnt been getting any work and that my images were not showing me to my best,and that edge wouldnt take me on with what i had and that they needed to be redone and updated so i agreed to have more pictures done my hair and makeup was done by a lady there and fabrice rizzato shot the pictures{who in all fairness has a good reputation} but when they were done i was told i had to buy them to give to edge ??? i said why cant you just send them over to edge and see if they want me ?? they said no thats not for us to do thats down to you but you have to pay for them?? so for 11 pictures they wanted 400 !! i hadnt got that money and had travelled about 150 miles that day for this so called 'test shoot' so had to pay on my creditcard which ive just payed off but since then edge have had my new shots i havent heard from the agency they have updated there site and 3 of these pictures are showing on there but i havent had 1 casting let alone a job and were a year on now !! also since then finding my own work i have found casting agents dont like these shots they are telling me they are no good and others in the portfolio that are were shot on a tf basis were better!! so i wasted all that money and havent been contacted whatsoever about any work at all ..very upsetting to think that I could have used that money for something else instead of useless pictures i didint even need ?? can you help as this is happening to each and every girl that goes to edgemodelmanagement amd all are told the same .....kindest regards ESther Adams
