I received a phone call from Waka telling me that I'm entitled to payment for a survey that I filled out. I don't remember filling out any surveys but they said I did. They told me to go to my computer immediately and log onto their site to process my benefits which consisted of gasoline credit for $100.00 and more. The cost would be nominal $2.99 for a trial subscription to have multiple discounts for items that I already purchase. They assured me that they are a reliable company and have been in business for years. I could cancell at any time and have my fees refunded if I was not satisfied. I gave them my credit card number and before I finished I noticed that they immediatley were off the phone. I could not get in touch with them again.
When I checked the computer, I saw the scam listings and immediately called my credit card company to close my card account. The credit card company told me that they already processed my fees in those few minutes.
