I am currently on workman's comp disability and decided to start to do business with Davison in order to license and develop a new product idea. I submitted partial payment of $500 with a remaining balance of $215 in order to begin working with them. It was my understanding that the agreement I signed would not be considered fully executed until all funds were received and that no work would be performed until all funds were received. I recently decided to not work them them and requested a refund of my $500 payment, which according to the contract disclosures, plainly states that I can do so within 7 days of signing the agreement AND receiving a fully executed copy of it. What their disclosure failed to "disclose" is that the word "it" in the sentence above actually refers to something other than the executed
agreement. It pertains more to the electronic, unsigned copy I received via email. I would really like to have assistance in receiving a refund of my $500 payment from the Davison company. Further more, I found that there are more than enough claims against them previously posted to this site, the BBB site, and numerous internet blogs to support the complaint. I feel that they are stealing my money and that they falsify their scandalous intentions with contract language specifically meant to make the "buyer" believe that the company is legitimate. This is not the case.
Desired Settlement: Refund
Desired Outcome Description: I would like to
have assistance in receiving a refund of my $500 payment from the Davison company. I was told by a senior manager and the director of new sales that they will not refund the money under any circumstance. I can provide all emails and a copy of the contract for review if necessary.
