My mother was insure by Ohio state Life insurance com. In 1994 she had payment to then start coming out of her check. THe co is now Americo Financisl life and Annuity. Americo was taking paying out of her check. I was checking my mother insurances, Americo stop taking payment out of check in October 2011.
I called Americo at 1-800-231-0801 and was told the policy was discontinue becaued of none payment.
THey claim that my mother was sent something to sent in payment . They told me the paper were sent to her old address An address she had not live in for over 10 years. The company said they will send the paper to see if she can get reinstated into the insuranc.
My mother was paying $100.00 a monthe $1,200 a year for a 50,000.00 policy
THis is too much to stop a policy that she had for over 30 years old
I wonder if they are doing this to cother people
