- RECEIVED MESS. OCT. 2 FROM BESTBUYWIN.NET. I HAVENT BENN TO BEST BUY IN 6 MONTHS. HOW COULD I POSSIBLY HAVE WON LAST MONTHS DRAWING. NEVER GAVE BEST BUY MY CELL #. THE IS FOR SURE A SCAM.

Received the same txt today, 10/04/2012 at 3:56a.m., which read the following: "Your entry last month has WON! Go to BestBuyWin.net and enter your winning code 5555 to claim your FREE $1000 Best Buy gift card within 24hrs."
Iv never entered anything of the sort. The number from the text message was 909-973-5847 -

I am an employee at Best Buy; I will go ahead and tell you this is a scam. In North Carolina the only "Event" type ordeal we had as of today was 20% everything in the store. Last night anyone who had a Big Lots Rewards card got a 20% off ahead of time
For Example:
I work in the Furniture Department and a-lot of the furniture was on clearance, anything on clearance would have gotten 20% that price (with a Big Lots Rewards Card). Today; All clearance items went back to their regular prices and was bought from the original price with 20% knocked off. -

- JUST RECEIVED THE SAME DAMN TEXT EARLIER THIS MORNING AT 2:38, FROM THE 714-616-6156 NO.! WISH I COULD FIND THE CLOWNS BEHIND THIS NON-SENSE !!! DEFINITELY A SCAM.... THANKS EVERYONE FOR YOUR WARNING POSTINGS HERE, BECAUSE I WAS REALLY ABOUT TO GO FOR THIS CRAP, BEFORE I READ ALL OF THE COMMENTS HERE - LOL !!!!!
