I took received an email that I thought was from a close friend of mine and clicked on the attached link. Well thinking that it had come from my friend went ahead with the $97.00 purchase. When I went to reply to her email the name changed to an entirely different name. I went immediately to my bank and advised them of this scam. We are in the process of filing a claim to get the $97.00 back, shame now I have to get a new debit card but a lesson was learned. My friend was stunned that this happened as well. I responded to the individual's email address that came up advising possible police notification as well.
