This company and/or a person named Rebecca Miller are running a CHECK SCAM. They are mailing counterfeit check. Usually two at a time hoping you will cash them and send them cash via Western Union. How I know about the FRAUD SCAM is they are using my company name as the return address on the envelope and we have received several returns which have been turned over to Federal Authorities.
Please be advised: These check are not coming from HealthConnection, Columbus, OH as stated on the envelope.

I'm not sure if I can provide any help (I took pictures of the checks); but here's my story as I just posted on the other Procyon-Instruments complaint page on scambook:
Wow!!! I was actually quite certain that this was a scam, but I figured I'd 'play along' and lo and behold, TWO CHECKS ARRIVED!! Prior to taking it this far, I did do what I thought was an exhaustive google search, but that was prior to this 'expose' here. In any case, I deposited the two checks (totaling $3,300) in my checking account but asked my bank to put a hold on the funds to make sure they clear FIRST. There was no way I was going to cash it and send them that amount of money (90% of the $3,300 of course!). Also, I gave them my P.O. Box instead of my home address because of my skepticism. BOTTOM LINE, once I confirm that these checks are in fact bad checks, I will give you guys an update as it appears that no one else has gotten this far (hopefully no one sent them money!!). Great job everyone!!! -

Dear skyy15 - Thank you for your post. HealthConnection, Inc. has filed a Mail Fraud Report with United States Postal Inspection Service / Criminal Investigations Service Center.
Can you reply and confirm that the return address on the envelop was HealthConnection, Inc from Columbus, OH - Please!
As we stated in the first post we have no part in this scam only that they are using our business address as the return address on the envelops.

It appears that they've changed their ammo in that they're using another address, but still using Procyon-Instruments(not HealthConnection). However, the envelopes' return name and address is as follows:
Susan King
445 Degroate Road
New Lenox, IL 60451
(Keep in mind REBECCA MILLER'S name is on all of the emails they've sent to me; not this "Susan King" name)
The bank they're using is as follows:
Harris, N.A.
5th Floor
Chicago, IL 60606
I sure hope something is being done about this!! -

Dear Skyy15 - That's good news for HealthConnection, Inc. but bad new for the folks at 445 Degroate Rd. Looks like they discovered we have filed with US Criminal Services and have moved on to these folks.
We received check with Bank information from IN, MN,PA, FL so Chicago is no surprise :)
All the account numbers on the checks used are fraud and we contacted the fraud division of each bank.
You were very wise to only give them a PO Box number. Who knows what they could do with your name and address.
Thanks again for your post... hope these crooks go to jail for years!!!!! -
