Before subscribing to the paid services, I received a bunch of emails that appear to be from local people interested in me. Once you subscribe (pay), you no longer have the same amount of local people attempting to contact you. After cancelling my subscription, I started receiving communications from "supposed" local people again. I think the communications are not from "real, legitimate" people looking for mates.
