We received a fax at work stating it is from benefit travel support office,and it is regarding employee travel program. Our company would usually get us discounts so I never thought it would be a scam.I gave the number a call and I spoke with Jean SIns he said that his employee # is 17609 and his direct extension is #308. He sounds convincing and so i gave my credit card for $175/person and $100 booking fee for my husband and myself total of $450. for 6 days and 5 nights at Cancune 5-star hotel of my choise. I told him i want to travel at November 10 -November 16, and he said no worries he would upgrade me to oceanfront for free. Because on their advertize flyer the booking charges were listed $129 per person he confirmed with his manager and offered the additional"discount". Total price was $400 for two adults for 6 days in Cancun, Sunset Lagoon all inclusive hotell. He will get a hold of me as soon as an agent is assigned to me. He said that the payment is needed as part of the promo. When I asked him I need the conformation with the name of the hotel he said that the agent will call me as soon as possible but he needs to have me talk to a recorded conversation to authorize my purchase and I have to sign the document and as soon as they receive it the booking process with the agent assigned will take place. I received the email and signed it and I received a receipt. It says call customer service at 1877-764-9967 or provide the hotell request via email at [email protected] to begin reservation process. I e-mailed the name of the hotell and the travel dates. I have never resievefd the conformation. So I called them again. I spoke to Josh Jasmin and end up with Jean Sins again and he told me that I have to keep trying to call for the booking.I asked the name of their company and Jean said it is vacation booking; hovewer, the charege of Holliday Mexsico appiered on my on-line statement. So I started doubting the process.I called the number info.helpdesk1.info, the number was inactive all day, finaly male voise ansvered. When they realized that my call is regarding the bookig he disconected. I tryed several times and another male voise ansvered. He said that the deal for Sunset Lagoon is over and they need to charge my credit card for more $200. I called directly to Cancun, Sunset Lagoon Hotell. The booking office said that they do not know none of these companies. I realized that it is a scam. I called my bank and have my credit card changed.I asked our travel office about the faxed document and they said it is not from them.I reported dispute.
Please be aveare: these people introduce themself as: corporatetravelnet.com, wholesealevacation.com, holliday Mexico.com, helpdesk1.info.So i went to check their websites and there is no business address or whatsoever.
