I went to check out the Zbiddy site after receiving an email advertisement. I was told that I had to create an account to bid and so I did so. As I was creating the account I was prompted for my cc info which I thought would be saved/used, like other sites, if I won an item. After I hit submit I was informed that I had just purchased bids and that I was charged $99!!!! It was after hours so I had to use their chat option to get to someone. After several messages back from Monica on how wonderful their site was and how she could discount my price and allow be to keep the bids, she finally got someone and stated that she would "return" my $99. I was obviously upset that 1) I was mislead and deceived by their site and 2) the charge had already gone through. I had just used that card to complete an order for a birthday gift for my daughter which because of Zbiddy may decline. I then asked how long it would take for me to get my refund and Monica just thanked me for contacting them and disconnected! I had to chat again and explain everything to Sharon - who at least seemed helpful - for most of it. I asked her how I would go about closing the account after I received my refund and she messaged back that she already closed it. I then had to point out that I stated I did not want it closed until AFTER I made sure I got the refund. So she had to reinstate it. Not once was there an apology given. POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE AND POOR BUSINESS PRACTICES. I HAVE REPORTED THEM TO THE BBB AS WELL AND IT APPEARS THEY HAVE HAD HUNDREDS OF OTHERS DO SO AS WELL. We will see if I get my refund.
