I received a phone call saying I had been accepted for an £8000 loan. They said ill be paying £200 a month for 4 years and don't have to pay anything until October. I'm only 18 so don't know much about loans but I thought that was really good. I was told in order to get this loan I must prove that I cab afford to pay it back. They told me to get an ukash voucher from my lical pay point shop of £200. As you could by it from a shop I thought it was the real deal. Then they told me that i have bad credit history so will need to pay 6% of the loan then the money will be in my account within 15 mins. Even better I thought! So I got another voucher of £430 the man on the phone who claimed his name was shawn said he will ring me back in 15 mins to say the loan was in my bank. 30 mins past and nothing, so i decided to ring him and someone who sounded a lot like him said that shawn has gone home!! I didn't know what else I could do so i left it to the next day. But when I rang them in the morning there was no answer. Over the course of the day I rang them 23 times and either it went to answer phone or they kept hanging up on me or someone answered the phone ( who sounded just like shawn) kept shouting at me saying they were busy and telling me to go away! After that i was angry that i had lost that money and just accepted I would never hear from them again. I was wrong the NEXT day they rang me to say my loan had been approved and I would need to pay £200 it receive it! I saw this as my moment to have a go at them but they said that my bank won't let me receive a loan as I have bad credit and i would have to pay another £350 to get someone from Manchester to come to worcester and give me the money by check! This has opened my eyes to how sick some people can be! I would love to know how to get my money back but i won't hold my breath!
