I was charged for 2 months of membership even though I followed their guidelines. I skipped the month of Aug. as I didn't have the money. I did not get any sort of confirmation that I had successfully skipped the month so I sent them and email explaining just that and stating that I would like to know if they received my request. I heard nothing back. I did not know at this point that I had been charged a fee of $39.95 anyway.
When Sept. rolled around I went online and ordered my shoes for the month (which arrived just now in the mail). Today I, in the mail, I received 2 letters in the mail from my bank, notices of courtesy pay. When I looked at them they were for two separate charges of $39.95 each. This caused my account to over-draft costing me another $27.00 per transaction, leaving me with $54.00 in over-draft fees alone.
When I contacted them through their live chat to ask about the charges, they gave me the run-around. They would not refund the charges. They said that I had not skipped a month and not ordered shoes for the month of Sept.
I had the shipment confirmation email. I had the proof of purchase in my account on their website. They still refused to acknowledge the charges. I had already contacted my bank who suggested that I try to deal with Just Fab first. I knew I was going to have to go through my bank to get this fixed so I told her that I wanted to cancel my account. She directed me to a number that I had to call. I was asked the reason for my call and then placed on hold for over 10 minutes. When the rep picked up he had the same responses that the rep on live chat did.
I told him that I wanted to cancel my account and he said that I had two accounts. Which is not correct. When I stated that it had to be a mistake in their system, he told me that their system doesn't make mistakes. He said that I was charged on one account for not skipping the month (but that I had skipped it on the other account) and that I had not made my purchase for the month on one of the accounts so I was charged. I opened my account in July. It states on my account history (their records)that both accounts were opened in the same month but with different email addresses, all other information was the same. He then told me that he was only authorized to close one of the accounts.
When I asked to speak to a supervisor I was told there was none there. When I said that I wanted to whomever was higher up that could cancel both accounts. He refused. I said that I would hold until one came along. I was on hold for over 20 mins. In that time I was able to file a claim with my bank.
When he returned to the phone (I never did get to speak to a supervisor) he said that they could refund one of the charges (only after I told him that I filed a fraud report with my bank). he continued to say the same things and when I told him that I didn't have time to talk about it and that I just wanted to cancel both accounts and that I would take care of the rest with my bank, he started to argue with me. I told him there was no reason for us to keep talking about it and to just cancel my accounts. He asked me to hold. Came back and started telling me about the 2 accounts again. I told him that I needed him to simply cancel the accounts. He placed me on hold and then I was hung up on.
This is a scam. They charge without permission, they do not allow you to speak to managers or supervisors, they make you take several steps just to get told that they cannot cancel accounts.
That is not what their website states. It is supposed to be easy and quick to cancel.
The quality of their products is also not where they say it is. The shoes begin to fall apart after one wear.
