I was contacted by phone to do a broker bpo on a home in El Dorado Hills, CA. I talked to the caller who said all I had to pay was $30.49 to set up my account. I agreed and gave him my credit card, which was actually charged $349. I called him to complain about the cost and he said I must have misunderstood but that there would be a lot of opportunities to do more bpo's and get the listing if they received the house to list. I checked the website and it took a long time to come up and then I checked for scams and Bankereo was listed as a scam. I will call my credit card company tomorrow to see if I can reverse the charges.
