I purchased a book, "The Tiger" in November of last year as a gift for my brother's upcoming birthday. One book at about $13.00 with an offer of free shipping....they continued to hit my Discover card with $19.95 charges for nine months before I caught the problem. I tried to talk with them - only to find that they REM initially offered a one month refund - I insisted that was not enough - it went to two refunds - I insisted on speaking with a supervisor and was told none were available - I continued to insist and finally got REM to admit that yes there was a supervisor - but I couldn't talk to her - she was unavailable - I continued to insist - and finally because of my insistence - I did talk with supervisor CG who upped the refund to two months with consideration to their customer service dept. that I be granted a third refund - still that's not enough - I did not join their membership - didn't sign a contract and I am convinced that they know that but are so obstinate that they prey upon many - I have contacted my credit card company to fight this.

    Also, an email was sent to you (welcome to BBV) as soon as you joined the membership. This email contains the Terms of Offer, billing info and mbs fee etc.

    We believe that our concerned department has already issued you the maximum possible Courtesy refund and as per their findings you are ineligible for any further refund.

    Please note again that membership is not mandatory.

    You became the member after agreeing to the terms and you availed the membership benefits as well.

    Please note that had you called or emailed us earlier, we would have canceled your membership immediately and issued you a refund then.
