The agent for Active whom I spoke to said that the charge was made after my husband signed up for a race and "forgot" or "didn't see" the very small type at the bottom of the form with a check mark automatically added to it giving Active permission to not only charge for race fee, but for annual membership to Active. This is a total scam and I plan to report company to BBB. I don't know whether I'll get my money back or not, but don't hesitate to call the company and to personally speak to someone about this. Supposedly, the charge will be magically reversed in 3 to 5 business days. We'll see.
