Received a letter from this company stating that my husband had won $50,000.00 US Dollars thru "Lotto North American and European Sweepstakes Lottery held on May 30th, 2011. Enclosed with the letter was a check in the amt of $2,480.00 which was sent for payment to cover applicable "Government Taxes" on the winnings... "2,180.00 to be paid "directly to tax agent "Connie Roddy" located in New York, New York. 10723 and that "We urge you to keep this "Confidential" and also stated to call them back once the check was deposited...I went to my bank, asked if this check was ''REAL" and by no surprise it wasn't...I just called "1-438-402-4854 "Susane Johnson" which sounded like a different voice told her the check wasn't "real" she wanted my phone number I told her the claim No# she hung up on me...WHAT IS THIS WORLD COMING TOO, PEOPLE....HOW CAN THESE PEOPLE GET AWAY WITH THESE TYPES OF SCAMS....ESPECIALLY HOW CAN THEY LIVE WITH THEMSELVES THAT THEY'RE RIPPING PEOPLE OFF, ESPECIALLY IN THIS HARD ECONOMIC TIMES WE'RE LIVING IN....I CAN ONLY HOPE THESE PEOPLE ARE BROUGHT TO JUSTICE WITH THE CRIMINAL INTENT OF TAKING PEOPLES HARD WORKING MONEY AND INFORMATION AND PROSECUTE THEM TO THE FULLEST EXTENT OF THE LAW.......HOW DARE THESE PEOPLE AND THIS COMPANY THEY WORK FOR...KARMA WILL COME AROUND......DO NOT ACCEPT ANYTHING FROM THIS COMPANY NOR THE PEOPLE THEY WORK FOR.....HOW DARE YOU!!!!!!!!
