Last month I stupidly fell for the SlimTone Plus "Free Trial" and i signed up and paid the postage fee £2.49, which i got charged for twice , taking my bank over drawn and I then had the £27 bank charges to pay. I then received the products a week later, then found I would then have to pay for yet another months supply automatically. I then rang the company and they told me to send it all back recorded delivery through the post office, which I did on the 13th August. At the begining of this week i checked my bank only to find out that they had taken yet another payment out costing £37.50, and takin my bank over drawn, thus resulting in yet another bank charge of £27. I haven't received anymore of the products, so why they charged me i do not know, as they said on the phone I had 14 days to return all items to ensure i was charged the cancelation fee. This company needs stopping!I have lost money out of mine and my partners wedding funds in order to pay bank charges due to this company. I am now currently in dispute with both the company and the bank, and the company is refusing to talk. I have learnt my lesson and will never fall for anything on the internet like that again.

  • I am now pleased after being on the phone to the company i have been told i am getting a full refund and they do not know why i was charged as they recieved my cancellation request and terminated everything... they were apologetic and very helpful after all the hassel before. lets just hope in 2-5 days i have my money back!!!

  • Be very weary. They may have said they will return you the money but they may not. Contact the bank and get a block put on the company so they cant take any more.

  • My bank say they cannot block payments until the dispute has been there for 15days. Me and my partner are watchin very closely and after 2-5 days (when theyve said the.money will be refunded by) can proceed further. The company already admitted it was a problem on their side and accordin to their system my account was cancelled last month. None of them could understand why I was charged. I recorded the phone call so have evidence of what they have said and everythin i said. And that they have clearly said i will be refunded everythin. so just

  • Maybe it depends on the bank. I'm with Lloyds and they said they will block any further attempts to take money.I've lost the initial 2 lots of 2.49 but they wont be able to take any more.

  • well after the 2-5 days of me being refunded, body cleanse has just passed me from pillar to post and put me through to slimtone plus.. which had all my details and apologised for the refund not being processed..and which now i have to wait another 3-5 days for the refund (which she said on the phone she was putting through now)..what aload of bollocks!.. This company is really starting to get on my nerves!!

  • I wouldn't bother any more with them if I were you. Deal with your bank. They have the powers to return money to you which has been taken in a fraudulent way. The company have no morals.
