I went to a psychic that was new to my neighborhood. The reading was astoundingly accurate and I was told specific things by this person that she couldn't possibly have known. Thinking back, she made some pretty good guesses and I was vulnerable on that date, because I had just broken-up with my boyfriend. She told me that my life was good except in the area of love. She told me I had a curse in this area. I was so distraught because I had gotten divorced several years earlier and the first time I let someone get close to me, the relationship went sour. So instead of living in reality, I went with something must be wrong with me instead. She then told me she could balance my energy and then my love life would be as good as new. This costed $290, which I figured, since I had it and was curious, what was the worst that could happen except losing the $290. She then had me do all these odd things using money (12 bills, and she tried to get me to up the denominations) & crystals, and she prefaced everything with Bible scriptures. That should have been my cue to leave, because anything religion based makes me run. And the $ thing didn't sit well with me either. This is why I went to psychics in the first place. But instead of listening to myself, I wanted to see where this would go. She did the water trick where she had me pray over this bottle of water every night and then bring it to her. She took the lid off the water and prayed with it touching all over my body & she must have slipped something in it when it was over my head. She put the lid on and dropped the bottle on the floor because the water was now black and she squirted it with holy water. She told me the evil had left my chakras, but that it needed to be contained or it could come back to me or even her. God forbid! She tried to get me to buy this special crystal for $7,700 and then I told her no and then she said she could probably get it for $2800. I told her no and that I didn't have the $ and she asked me about credit cards and tried to coerce me, when I told her I didn't have it. She was screaming at me telling me that the evil is on the loose, etc. I knew in my heart it was a scam, but the water trick it what did it. I was married to a chemist and just happen to work in the chemical industry. I did get the money she tried to take with the crystal, but the $290 fee is gone. So the lesson is, trust yourself, you know more than you think you do. And beware!
