I ordered two Taylor Made R9 super Tri drivers. When they arrived I noticed that the printing on one shaft was crooked so I did a further inspection of both clubs. There were paint chips on the shafts and the adjustable collar was different for both clubs even though they were supposed to be the same.
I took it out for a test on the golf course and the head came loose the first time I hit it. I tightened it up and the screw was completely stripped. The other driver had the same problem so both were unusable. The head covers were peeling after just a few uses.
I contacted the company and they reimbursed me $80.00 after a lot of haggling and email correspondence.
I am now faced with an import duty bill as well as taxes to the tune of $33.00. According to their website these items would not be taxed or charged duty fees.
They are a complete fake and I wouldn't buy anything from them.
I am continuing to pursue this and will report back if anything changes.
