We signed a contract with Ocean View Properties to handle the sale of our timeshare in Puerto Villarta. We fulfilled our obligations and they have not released our funds. They have not returned phone calls or responded to emails since their payment to us has come due.

- Harold, I am in a similair situation with OVP as well. I see that your post was on 8/28 have you had any resolution?

- No resolution. We wrote to the Calif. Attorney General. Received a polite form letter. We contacted a California lawyer, but no response from him yet either.

- Bonesgs, I'm running in to a problem. The loss, although very large to me, is very small to most lawyers. If we can locate others who have been conned by OVP we might be able to got someone's attention.

- We have experienced the same scenario. However, when we were asked to wire transfer over five thousand dollars to an individual in Mx. to pay SAT taxes, we stopped dead in our tracks. They have had an answer for every question we've asked, but this one. When we pay the IRS, we don't write a check to an IRS EMPLOYEE! Anyway, thanks to finding so many complaints online, we won't send any money and are collecting all paperwork from them as evidence of the scam. Suggest you do the same. We will also contact the Attorney Gen. Office of CA. You are not the only one. The list of complaints comes up online before the actual business comes up when we do an online search. I think they've been busy boys and it's all going to catch up with them - the sooner the better! We are so sorry you've lost precious savings to them. Hope you get it back.
