Elite said they would lower my interest rates on my loans and credit cards and assured me a $2,500 savings on my interest rates in a year and provide me with a financial planner. Elite did not call my credit card company and I never received documentation of my savings. I asked for a refund 5/15/12 after speaking with a manager she told me I would get in 60 days as long as I took no action. On 7/15/12 I called asking for refund and they said they could do nothing but put message to billing dept. and to wait another month. As of 8/15/12 I was told to again wait another month. Elite did not educate nor provide the savings they claimed. In fact the so called planner, Gary Hernandez,just told me to look for zero APR transfer and to call him back when I found one. When I called him back he did a 3 way call with the bank to set it up. I could have done this myself for free as I was already approved. I should have known it was a scam as the wanted the money all upfront. They are just going to tell me another month and I will never get my money back. Any help or ideas would greatly me appreciated to stop others from suffering the same fate.

  • I am writing my own update as now Elite Planning Group refuses to give me the services I paid for because they say I requested a refund.They also keep telling me they have to put another request in to the billing department and to wait another month.I was promised all my money by 7/15 and have yet to get anyone to do anything. They have not saved me my $2,500 and refuse to give me any documentation. They still are stealing the consumer's money and giving them nothing and are completely getting away with it. In Nov. I will be paying 13% interest on the credit card they charged this service to. They increased my interest instead of reduce it. How illegal is that?

  • Clonedaddy I will follow your advice as it has been over 5 months and they have refused to refund. I was told to call credit card company to dispute request was denied. They said they would process and not fight the dispute. They lied and I've been trying to call them for a week and a half and all I get is a recording that states they are having technical difficulty. How about a registered letter? I'm not going to give up and any additional help you could provide is greatly appreciated. I see now that the dispute thing was just another stall tactic. They are certainly good at that. How were you able to communicate with the billing dept?
