WE RECEIVED A RENEWAL NOTICE FOR PEOPLE MAGAZINE. WE SENT A PAYMENT OF $179. NOT REALIZING THIS WAS NOT OUR USUAL RENEWAL NOTICE FOR OUR 20+ YEARS OF SUBSCRIPTIONS THIS WAS PAID. THEN WE RECEIVE A NOTICE FROM PEOPLE MAGAZINE SAYNG WE NEED TO PAY FOR OUR RENEWAL...I CONTACTED PUBLISHERSPAYMENT REGARDING THIS FRAUD . I CALLED PUBLISHERSPAYMENT AND COMPLAINED THEY SAID THEY WOULD MAKE A REFUND REQUEST...THIS DOES NOT MEAN YOU WILL GET A REFUND...JUST THAT THEY WILL REQUEST A REFUND. I ALSO WROTE AN ALERT NOTICE TO PEOPLE MAGAZINE DIRECT ADVISING THEM OF THIS SCAM.I SENT COPIES OF ALL DOCUMENTS FROM "PUBLISHERSPAYMENT".AGAIN TODAY 10 WEEKS LATER I CALLED PUBLISHERSPAYMENT AND THEY SAID THEY WOULD MAKE ANOTHER REQUEST BUT IT IS ONLY A REQUEST.
I SPOKE TO DEANNA AND SHELLY AT PUBLISHERSPAYMENT. THIS IS NOT A LEGITIMATE COMPANY.
